Letter to myself — The power of the pivot.

Hey girl, it’s been a minute. Guess what? You’re crushing it. I am super proud of you. Three years ago feels like a lifetime, but you have been doing some big things. You purchased a condo, entered your third year of teaching, and are close to finishing school. Within the past three years, you have accomplished so much, all of which you should be proud of. You traveled across the pond, reunited with childhood friends, and continued your health journey.
In the beginning, you had no idea where this would take you. However, you knew that you couldn’t settle for the present situation you were in. Therapy is what helped you, but loving yourself is what saved you. You found ways to make time for yourself, to set the bar for what you deserve.
Currently, you are in your lover-girl era. You are open to accepting love, both platonic and romantic. You are not afraid to offer love a chance, no matter what others say. Whether it be acts of service or quality time, you give with a kind heart and pure intentions. And if we are being honest, keep doing that because it is what makes you unique in who you are. Continue to capture all the moments you can because you have witnessed what it is like to lose countless memories.
Although you have struggled in silence, remember that you are not failing. At times when you come across an overwhelming obstacle — you have to remember to keep going. You have a village supporting you and rooting for you every step of the way.
